HI ready for humanitarian demining 8 September 2026
In March 2026, HI formed its Humanitarian Demining Team.
Eight HI staff members committed themselves to one of the most challenging but vital tasks: clearing Ukraine’s land of hidden explosives enabling families to return home safely, restore livelihoods, and support the country’s economic recovery. Each cleared field, road, and community space not only reduces the risk of accidents but also opens the way for farming and housing reconstruction.
