For the past two years, the HI Foundation has been taking part in the Humanitarian Encyclopedia project led by the CERAH. Here learn about what's to come for 2018.
As part of its partnership with the CERAH, the Handicap International Foundation has already taken part in the first phase of the Humanitarian Encyclopedia project. Via its Director, a member of the project's Advisory Board, the Foundation has been participating in the selection of a preliminary list of concepts and has been assisting the CERAH in the project's global scoping. Over the course of 2018, the Foundation will also support the CERAH in the elaboration and organization of workshops. The workshops' overall objectives are to ensure that the project takes on a multicultural dimension and compares the selected concepts with a diversity of understandings. The Foundation has indeed chosen to channel its efforts into showcasing the diversity of meanings, the multiplicity of practices as well as their overall operational impacts.
